Where music, culture, and health meet
I am a soprano, musicologist, and physician whose work lies at the intersection of music, culture, and health, always guided by a decolonial perspective and a commitment to inclusion and diversity. My passion is to rescue, study, and perform Latin American and Iberian art song, bringing visibility to repertoires and voices often silenced in the traditional Eurocentric canon.
I am also interested in exploring how music impacts health and shapes identity, memory, and social well-being. This has led me to publish books, record albums, and lecture internationally, weaving together research, performance, and reflection on the transformative power of music.
